Having three daughters, I have been quite used to more of being an elder sister to them. I have Mara, 22, Kyle, 20, and Lyle, 18--all are already ladies in their own right. Mara is into playing the violin and is in her sophomore year in college taking Conservatory Music. Kyle is good in physics and has just taken an entrance exam in college; if she will successfully pass the exam then she will take civil engineering. Lyle is in her senior year in high school. As early as now, I could sense she will take a writing course in college. I have seen how grammatically error-free her works are.I was even ashamed to write my essay about my post graduate paper when I learned how good she was.I have tried to be very strict with them before when they used to fight often, but I can not seem to get their acts together. Things changed when they started to be pursued by men. All of them became modest and I could see how they support each other. So, I had to keep my guard down, and relax more. Now we are more of sisters, and I often find myself just being advised with several things by them may it be fashion, food, health, etc. Their generation is really different now. But I am glad that I could follow. I have realised that it is compassion that sets the difference in every relationship.
